The Next Steps for The Dad Shift

Big things are happening at The Dad Shift. We have officially established The Dad Shift Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that will seek to help train, equip, mentor, and encourage first responder fathers and their families. This process is tedious so we ask for your prayer during this time and that God will direct the path of this organization using it for His glory! The Dad Shift Organization hopes to provide resources, connect with first responder fathers, and host or send firefighters to faith based trainings and seminars. How we serve:

The Podcast: On The Dad Shift podcast we share real stories from real first responders about their faith, fatherhood, and families. We seek to raise awareness that fathers aren't alone in their struggles and share resources to help guide the faith filled fatherhood journey.

Sharing Resources: At The Dad Shift, we hope to connect fathers with resources that will equip and encourage them to lead with faith at home and on the job. We do this by connecting first responders to local peer support, or other resources that can help with their journey.

Building a community: As we grow, we aim to create a network of faith based first responders that can interact, connect, and share their stories and experiences. When we share our journey with others, we often realize that our struggles are easier to overcome when supported by a faith based community. Events: The Dad Shift hosts networking events such as First Responder Worship Nights, bible studies, as well as sponsor faith based conferences for first responders and their families. Eventually we hope to host our own conference but for now we offer partial or full scholarships to events like:

Marriage Retreats or Bible studies like ReEngage

Dad Tired Men's Retreat

What exactly is The Dad Shift?

The Dad Shift Organization is a federally recognized nonprofit organization established to equip, encourage, and support first responder fathers through faith-informed brotherhood, practical peer support, and faith based community. We operate on the foundational belief that when fathers are faith-forward, present, connected, and supported, families and local communities are better equipped to spread the love of Christ.

We have officially obtained our Federal 501(c)(3) status!

We operate and are located in Texas but thanks to modern technology hope to reach the world!
